The next step after submitting your VFS application online is to book an OCI service appointment at VFS now that you have the OCI application form. As you need to submit all documents in person VFS along with the OCI application form, Including paying the fees. The documents need to be self attested photocopies along with originals.
To apply for your OCI in the VFS center of your convenience, you must make an appointment.
To avail a prior appointment, please follow these steps
Step 1: Click on this link to access our Online Appointment System for VFS and book an appointment.
Step 2: The next step is to select the nearest VFS center in accordance with your jurisdiction.
You must pick the VFS center solely in accordance with your jurisdiction. You will be requested to reserve the appointment again in the center of your jurisdiction when you book an appointment at any VFS center other than your jurisdiction to receive an early appointment.
Choose “OCI” and click Submit your preferred VFS Center and Services. Choose yours according to your competence.
Step 3: Enter applicant details and pick an appointment
- Passport Number
- OCI Registration Number
- Applicant First and Last name
- Telephone Number
- Email ID
- Date of Birth
Click Enter. Choose a date and time slot on the next screen.When you select the time frame, the OCI appointment will receive a booking confirmation. Print as necessary on the appointment day. Print as required. You will also receive an email confirmation with a letter of appointment.
What happens on the appointment day?
- The security staff at the VFS center will check and issue your token number at the appointment time
- Wait for your number– if the center is behind schedule on the day, you may have to wait
- Send your request and supporting documents at the counter when called and pay the OCI application fee.
